Clarice Sargenti is a visual artist living in Mendocino County, California whose work explores patterns, systems, evolution, the human and the more-than-human, alterity, borders, edges of transformation and interspecies kinship in her work across many mediums. She regards her art practice as a constantly evolving form of play and contemplation of what it means to be a temporary visitor to the beautiful living Earth. Through her work, she aims to create a space for contemplation and exploration of the intricate and interconnected nature of our world. She makes functional and sculptural pottery, illustrations, and paintings, and lives in the oak woodlands of Redwood Valley with a pack of wild animals.
